A cold autumn in 1942.
One nazist plane crashes into the mountains around a small village in Sardinia. A man, alone, witnesses the accident: Salvatore. He runs through the woodlands, before the night comes, to reach the crash site. When he comes, something strange has already happened. The pilot has disappeared: a ghost plane. Padoreddu plays with it, he stares at it, he dreads it. He runs away in the night, but before he steals the only object which steals his attention: the radio. Back in the village, he’s teased from his countrymen and comes back home, alone.
Overnight, something spooky and unbelievable will happen. The radio will start whispering his name, Padoreddu, just like everybody calls him, and it will wake him up from a terrible dream, where its past tries to come back. And the future will be just as scary as a nightmare. Plane disappeared. Strange things happening in the village. Echoes of a phantom voice follows him, relentlessly, from the dark abyss of some once forgotten events.
Is he getting mad?
